Pushbutton Switches for Circuit Boards
Push-button switches for circuit boards are used on circuit boards to switch them ON or OFF by pressing a button. They are used in devices such as communication equipment, industrial equipment and information equipment. Machine input is performed with manual operation. Two switch types are available, a momentary type that switches ON or OFF only while the button is pressed and an alternate type that switch between ON and OFF each time the button is pressed. Shapes include round, square and rectangular types. Also, types are divided into illuminated types that shine when ON and non-illuminated types that do not shine. Many types are available that do not rise from the circuit board surface, and many compact types are also available. Each has certain properties such as breakage resistance, dust resistance, water-resistance and stability, and some types are fully washable. The mountable circuit boards such as printed wiring boards or PCBs are limited in some cases. Select the product according to the circuit board type.
